Published on: November 22, 2024

SAVS invited friends, colleagues and partners to our Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 19 November 2024.

The group were welcomed by our Chair, Gaby Rydings and presented with an update from our CEO, Anthony Quinn. Guest Speakers included Tom Abell from Mid & South Essex ICB and Lucy Nembaware from Cadent. The Worshipful the Mayor, Cllr Ron Woodley was also in attendance and closed the meeting.

As a Council for Voluntary Services, it is SAVS’ role to support, promote and represent the Voluntary Sector. We support our membership of 440+ VCFSE organisations, providing one to one capacity building guidance and support.

SAVS CEO, Anthony Quin reflects,

“Looking back on the year 23/24 brings a smile and feeling of pride when reflecting on our achievements across a very significant and ambitious year for SAVS. A year full of opportunity and challenge.”

“I want to acknowledge the very people that make SAVS the organisation it is today; our Trustees, volunteers, staff and members. Your continued commitment and contribution to our organisation, communities and the voluntary sector is greatly appreciated and applauded. Thank you.”
