Southend Association of Voluntary Services (SAVS) supports, promotes and represents the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector in Southend. This role will support the VCFSE sector in Southend by promoting the sector through our digital channels (reaching an audience of over 19,000 people) to showcase the services they provide to Southend residents.
The role will involve:
- Producing a weekly email promoting the sector and collating the content to be included
- Producing and collating content for SAVS’ social media channels
- Manage content on SAVS’ website, built with WordPress and manage content for other digital platforms SAVS may develop in the future
- Reposting and curating social media stories for our Facebook page
The successful candidate will enjoy a varied role and by sharing news and stories from across the sector, you will help local organisations raise their profile, reach more residents, attract support, and demonstrate the important impact they have in Southend.
Role Details:
- 8 hours per week spread over 2 days
- This post is currently funded for 6 months
- Salary: £24,519 per annum (pro rata) per annum, pro rata
