This month marked the exciting second launch of Big Sparks, this time in the South East Central locality—covering the Kursaal, Victoria, and St. Luke’s wards. The event welcomed local residents and people who live or work in the area to come together, share ideas, and spark positive change in their community.

Chiquitta had the pleasure of speaking to several attendees, including a couple of friends who had only just heard about the event that very day (Through a Connector). One resident shared:

“I’m so happy I decided to come along to this today. I’ve met so many people, and my son has been going through some challenges—now I have a few ideas and places to try that might help him.”

It’s times like these that remind us why community connection and collaboration are so important. We’re looking forward to seeing the ideas that come out of South East Central!
