Community Builder, Eda enjoys breakfact club with Stephen’s Place

Published on: June 26, 2025

Community Builder, Eda Deramchia visited with Stephen’s Place, who are on a mission to provide an incredible supported living experience for those who have faced homelessness, addictions, or have a past as ex-offenders.

It’s not just a roof over their head — it’s a real home where people can grow, heal, and feel connected. They  run all sorts of activities to keep things interesting and meaningful — from cooking, gardening, and fitness, to prayer groups, counselling, volunteering, and even work opportunities.

Eda comments:

“I visited the breakfast club — another great part of what they do. Every week, on a Tuesday at All Saints Church, they serve  a hearty breakfast for £1. It’s a friendly space where people can grab a good meal and also get help with things like money, housing, benefits, or just have someone to talk to. In addition to that there’s a creative corner where people can do a bit of therapeutic crafts or get their nails done.”
