We support adults aged 18 and over with acute or chronic mental health conditions, as well as individuals affected by dementia, social isolation, neurodiversity, brain injury and stroke.

Our person-centred approach focuses on setting achievable goals and working collaboratively with local agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes. We help clients develop life skills, engage socially, and build confidence and independence, while also providing carers with essential respite.

Support is available both at home and within the community. We charge an hourly rate for our services; however, as a charity, this cost is subsidised through our ongoing fundraising efforts. In addition, we fundraise specifically for an activities budget, enabling our clients to access community activities and opportunities without additional costs being a barrier.

How we help

Our clients enjoy goal-focused, therapeutic, and relaxed visits with our dedicated support workers. These sessions are tailored to individual needs and may include assistance with sorting paperwork, organising and cleaning the home, grocery shopping, and participating in physical activities such as walking, swimming, or cycling.

We also support clients to attend meaningful activities within their community, helping them stay engaged, build connections, and pursue their interests. Sometimes, support can be as simple — and as valuable — as going out for a coffee and having a friendly chat.

We assist with attending important health appointments, including visits to doctors, dentists, opticians, and other healthcare professionals.

Through consistent and compassionate support, we help build our clients’ self-esteem and confidence, enabling them to feel more connected and less isolated within their communities.

In addition, we offer much-needed respite for carers supporting individuals with a mental health diagnosis. We provide them with the opportunity to take a break and speak with someone who understands their situation, offering reassurance, empathy, and practical support.
