About Ovacome
Ovacome is the national UK ovarian cancer charity focused on providing support and information to anyone affected by ovarian cancer. This includes people who have either been diagnosed with the disease or think that they might be at risk, as well as their friends and family and healthcare professionals.
We are a strong community of many thousands of people, all working together with the aim of reducing isolation, sharing information, promoting knowledge and supporting anyone affected by ovarian cancer.
Every year we provide direct support to over 6,500 people through our support line and events. Nearly 80,000 people access our expert information materials.
The services we currently offer families are:-
Advocacy – We can accompany and represent you at meetings with Social Services and other professionals
Mediation – We can help young people, parents and carers to resolve their differences and plan positive change
Counselling – We can offer you supportive, ethical and confidential counselling
Parenting Skills – We can help you become more confident in your Parenting Skills
Anger Management – We can help you deal with anger issues constructively
