We are a non-judgemental group of friendly parents (mums and dads) who are estranged from our adult sons and/or daughters.

You may need us if you, or someone you know, are the parents of an estranged adult child and would like to meet other parents who are in the same position.

We offer support and friendship, share concerns, stories, ideas and advice in a discrete and sensitive setting.

There are regular monthly meetings at Leigh Community Centre on the second Wednesday of every month, although one of us is always available to offer support in-between meetings.

We always say to new members that we can’t take their pain away, neither can we make things better for them, but we can offer support and friendship and above everything else, we’ve learned to laugh again.

So, if you or someone you know might be suffering and feeling guilt, embarrassment or shame, please give us a call or message us and we promise we’ll do what we can to help.

Anyone is welcome, mums AND dads. Remember, you’re not alone, there are hundreds of thousands of parents estranged from their adult sons and/or daughters, and in turn, estranged from their grandchildren, all over the world.

If by talking to others, we can prevent just one parent from contemplating suicide, then we’ve accomplished our goal.
