The Young Person’s Drug and Alcohol Team is commissioned to provide treatment for substance misuse to young people under the age of 18. YPDAT also provides service for young adults 18-21 years old with an established pathway to adult services but will not be working with those who are misusing opiates and/or crack cocaine or are alcohol dependent. Those will be referred to STARS Southend Treatment and Recovery Service (CGL) – Adult Services.

- Psychosocial interventions including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioural Informed Therapy and Relapse Prevention

- Acupuncture
- Support accessing stop smoking service
