We are a community hub, theatre and cafe housed in a beautiful former Victorian school building in the heart of the wonderful Essex countryside. Dating from 1901 our historic building is full of atmosphere and offers a warm welcome to everyone.
Here at Zinc we hold a wide range of activities, classes, events and productions throughout the year for all the community; young, old and anywhere in between. Working to raise aspirations and create community.
Our education programme is one of a kind and is tailored to each individual student, building confidence and self esteem as well as educating. We are proud to be inclusive and accessible and believe passionately in arts without exception. Our services can be accessed by all ages and abilities.
