Brook Southend is the all-age integrated sexual health service for Southend-on-Sea, providing both clinical, educational, and outreach delivery across the city.

Our education team are facilitating a free training session for Southend professionals: Consent, Sex and the Law on Thursday 14th May. For this session, we’ll be discussing:

  • The legal definition of consent
  • Factors that may make it difficult to negotiate consent
  • Common myths about sex and sexual violence
  • The differences between signs of consent and non-consent
