Memory Clouds Dementia Wellbeing Workshops. With funding from Southend’s Big Sparks Initiative, Caring Clouds are supporting 50 carers/family members across 10 free dementia wellbeing workshops. Memory Clouds wellbeing workshops are designed to give carers the opportunity to relax, share and be part of a supportive and safe environment. Participants are encouraged to speak openly, share experiences and focus on their own wellbeing, while gaining gentle, therapeutic tools to support both themselves and the person they care for.
Reflect · Record · Share
Participants will receive a free journal to reflect and record their experiences after the workshop, to celebrate small wins and discover how touch can create deeper connections for carers, families and the person with dementia.
To support and inspire other families, participants will also be invited to share extracts from their journal for future publication – as well as being a guest on our Touching Moments podcast.
If you would like to take part in a wellbeing workshop, or host one in your setting, Caring Clouds would love to hear from you. To find out more about any of their offerings, please visit the website link below and complete the registration form.
To join one of their Big Sparks free Workshops, participants will be required to reside in Southend West Central – that’s postcodes SS0-SS2.
