About this Funding:

Organisations working to support the education and personal development of children and young people in England can now apply for grant funding from the BlueSpark Foundation. The Foundation supports a wide range of projects that help young people build confidence, teamwork skills, resilience and employability through educational, cultural, sporting and community-based activities.

Funding is available for initiatives such as drama, music, sport, art and design, debating, public speaking, academic or vocational learning, enterprise projects and educational visits. Grants can be used for items including equipment, materials, tuition, training, events and other learning experiences that directly benefit children and young people.

Applications are open to schools, colleges, community groups, clubs, societies, and not-for-profit organisations based in England. Grants are generally small-scale, with most awards under £2,000 and a maximum grant of £5,000.

Applications can be submitted at any time and are assessed on a rolling basis, with decisions typically made every eight weeks. This flexible approach makes the fund suitable for projects that need timely support.
