About this Funding:
The Bagri Foundation has announced that it is inviting applications to its Arts & Culture grants programme. The Foundation supports ambitious projects that promote traditional and contemporary Asian culture and reach audiences in the UK or Europe.
Funding can support visual arts, craft, exhibitions, film festivals, interdisciplinary performance, dance and music. Projects must be fully developed, have confirmed artists and public outcomes, and normally have at least one other confirmed funder.
To be eligible, projects must:
- Be hosted by established organisations with a track record of delivering artistic projects.
- Promote the sharing of traditional or contemporary Asian culture.
- Include established or mid-career level artists from Asia or the diasporas.
- Result in a tangible public outcome.
Key highlights:
- Open to UK and European charities, CIOs, CICs, not-for-profits and established creative collectives.
• Average grants are around £20,000.
• First-time applicants are advised not to request more than £50,000.
• Grants normally cover 10%–30% of total project costs.
Individuals cannot apply directly. Applications follow a two-stage process, with autumn applications accepted September–November and decisions expected December–January.
The closing date for stage 1 applications is 11.59 pm on 5 October 2026. Applicants successful at this stage will have until 11pm on 9 November to submit a full application.
