Published on: April 21, 2026

STRM – SEND the Right Message, MyOTAS – My Own Time And Space, and Essex Family Forum have been shortlisted for a national SEND award by the Council for Disabled Children.

The nomination recognises their Supporting Your Neurodivergent Child resource, which has supported over 19,000 families across 14 areas nationally.

The awards take place this Thursday, where the organisations will be representing Southend, Essex and Thurrock on a national stage.

The resource is free to access, thanks to support from Essex County Council and NHS Essex, and is also available free for Southend families.

Thank you to the families who continue to use and share it.
