Right after their weekly coffee morning, I had the lovely chance to join St. Aiden’s for their community lunch. They’re trying out a new three-month run of these get-togethers, playfully named “Lunch with Friends,” inspired by one of their regular members who said how wonderful it is to have lunch with friends.

On offer was a tasty selection of homemade soups with bread, followed by a tempting choice of desserts, all for just a suggested donation of £2. Everything was lovingly prepared by one of their amazing volunteers, making it feel really special.

These lunches will happen every third Friday of the month, with a little break at the end of June. It’s a lovely way to enjoy good food and good company, right after their regular Friday coffee mornings, which happen from 10 am to 12 pm.
