Southend-on-Sea has a new sexual health and wellbeing service in The Victoria Centre. The new clinic, operated by Brook, provides people of all ages with free, confidential and non-judgemental support with their sexual and reproductive health. Services include:

  • Condoms, contraception and emergency contraception
  • STI testing and treatment,
  • HIV testing and support
  • PEP and PrEP (medicines to prevent HIV)
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Abortion referrals
  • Sexual health advice

Brook’s education and outreach team are also based in the clinic, who deliver health promotion and outreach projects to raise awareness of the services available, supporting communities in Southend-on-Sea to access information and sexual health provision.

The new clinic replaces the service previously delivered from the premises at Warrior House on Southchurch Road. Brook in partnership with SH:24 will also continue to offer a range of sexual health services online at sexualhealthsouthend.co.uk
