Trust Links Invites Southend Community to Free May Fayre on 9th May 2026
Local mental health and wellbeing charity Trust Links is inviting Southend residents to come together for a traditional May Fayre on Saturday 9th May 2026, running from 11am to 2pm at Trust Links Westcliff, 47 Fairfax Drive, SS0 9AG.
The free event is set to bring a burst of colour and community spirit to Westcliff, celebrating spring with a range of family‑friendly activities. Visitors can look forward to maypole dancing, live music, delicious food and drink, browsing local business stalls and a welcoming community atmosphere.
Trust Links hopes the event will offer a relaxed and enjoyable space for people of all ages to connect, unwind, and learn more about the work the charity does to support local wellbeing. The May Fayre will also help raise vital funds for Trust Links, with a raffle, plant sales and opportunities to donate and get involved in the charity’s work. Trust Links has more than 150 volunteers that support the Growing Together community garden projects, youth activities, mental health services, administration and fundraising.
Matt King, CEO of Trust Links, said: “We are really looking forward to celebrating Spring at our May Fayre this year. The event will help essential funds to enable us to support more people with mental health challenges in our community. Our members and volunteers tend the Growing Together community garden in Westcliff throughout the year and the site really comes into its own for the Fayre, with music, dancing, food and community connection.”
