Folk Like Us Members Enjoy Active Picnic

Published on: May 8, 2025

Folk Like Us Wellbeing Navigator Sarah Byram, took advantage of a lovely warm day and accompanied some of our members to Clifftown Parade and held an Active Picnic.

Folk Like Us is a free service, providing support and advice to people over the age of 55, living in the city of Southend who are experiencing loneliness and isolation.

Everyone enjoyed an active afternoon, playing games before sharing some snacks in the sunshine.

It was thoroughly enjoyable, and members said it really lifted their mood and asked for more activities like this.
