About this Funding:

SUEZ UK have announced the launch of its new SUEZ Southend Community Fund, a dedicated initiative to empower local groups and organisations to make a meaningful impact across the city.

The fund is designed to support grassroots projects that improve the environment, boost community health, and promote wellbeing. With a total annual pot of £12,000, the programme will award grants ranging from £1,000 to £3,000 to projects that are locally driven, community-focused, and ready to deliver.

Community groups, not-for-profit organisations, and community businesses across Southend are encouraged to apply and bring forward innovative ideas that strengthen neighbourhoods and create lasting positive change.

In all cases the fund should support the project or activity directly through obtaining or purchasing equipment and supplies or towards training for the delivery of the projects.

All applicants will need to be formally constituted and must be not-for-profit organisations within the Southend-on-Sea City Council area and must be for the benefit of residents within the geographic Council area of Southend-on-Sea.

Projects that match the Community Fund criteria will be shortlisted and then reviewed by representatives from SUEZ who will award the funds.
