Olympus HR Volunteers Give the Folk Like Us Hub a Fresh New Look

Last week, a team from Olympus HR spent their company volunteering day at SAVS with the Folk Like Us team.
The volunteers were fantastic, spending their time painting the Folk Like Us Hub and even supplying all the materials and paint themselves.
The area was in need of a refresh, having last been decorated when it opened 11 years ago. The team also helped to ‘dress’ the space, ready to welcome visitors, who loved the new look.
The Folk Like Us Hub is a welcoming space for over-55s to meet like-minded individuals and enjoy a programme of activities together, with the aim of combating social isolation and loneliness in Southend. CLICK HERE TO FIND OUT MORE
