Parent Voice Ambassador Project Celebrates Extension

Published on: March 5, 2026

As the SAVS Parent Voice Ambassador Project reflects on what it has achieved during the pilot phase, Community Project Workers, Michelle and Jen, celebrate at The Hangout with our volunteers and their families. This project has now extended for a further 2 years.

Southend parents volunteer monthly to sit in on meetings and complete feedback surveys on a wide range of opportunities where their lived experience can make an impact to decision making in Southend. Families came together to share food, connect and let their children play with the wide range of activities available at The Hangout.

“It was great to be gathered together and meet and talk to other families.”
