Supported Volunteering Project Litter Pick

Published on: September 19, 2024

SAVS’ Supported Volunteering Project were out and about picking up litter on the Westcliff Cliffs earlier this week, helping to keep Southend clean whilst enjoying each others company!
The Supported Volunteering Project, funded by Big Lottery Community Fund, supports people who may have experienced mental ill health into volunteering.
Bitesize volunteering opportunities, such as this, can help ease anxiety around committing to a regular volunteering role. Being in a small group also means less pressure when meeting new people and being around others.
If you are looking to improve your overall health and have been thinking about volunteering, get in touch by calling 01702 356021 or email svproject@savs-southend.co.uk
