Joseph Toomey Charitable Foundation Partners with SAVS

Published on: July 9, 2025

SAVS are proud to be working with the Joseph Toomey Charitable Foundation to support the over 65s in the City of Southend.

Statement from the Joseph Toomey Charitable Foundation (JTCF):

We’re pleased to share that the Joseph Toomey Charitable Foundation is now working in partnership with SAVS (Southend Association of Voluntary Services) – a local organisation dedicated to supporting community and voluntary work across Southend and the wider Essex area.

This new partnership will help us strengthen our support for older people in the community, by connecting more closely with local groups and services already making a real difference. With SAVS’ local insight and network, we’ll be better placed to reach those who need our help most by providing practical support.

Together, we’re looking forward to helping more elderly people across Essex feel supported, connected, and secure in their homes.

Michael John Toomey registered the Joseph Toomey Charitable Foundation, (named in memory of his father), in 2020. He did this to pursue his dream of helping the elderly in the local community. The Objects of the Charity are to relieve the needs of elderly persons through the provision of low cost home ownership and associated services to address their needs.

The financial strength of the Charity is underpinned by the Toomey Motor Group, and other MJT Securities’ companies, which provide financial support to achieve these objects.

We’ll be sharing more about our upcoming projects soon – watch this space!
